Radius Uptown Apartments (Alexan Uptown)
Originally named Alexan Uptown by developer Trammell Crow Residential, Radius Uptown features Prescient’s structural steel system in this 372-unit, 12-story, luxury apartment tower.
The Prescient System enabled the building to go to 12 stories, eliminating the five-story-or-less restriction of wood-frame construction. The elevated height served to increase the unit yield on the same site size, enhancing the return-on-investment and enabling the incorporation of key amenities such as a pool atop the cast-in-place podium. Optimum leasing was reached quickly, with the sale of the building taking place less than a year after’s the project’s completion.
